This is a GBG listed micropub in what used to be a tourist information office, next door to the public toilets in the centre of Amble. It doesn't open until 4pm on weekdays, so I had a look through the glass door to see what I was missing: Anarchy Blonde Star and Citra Star, and Cushy Butterfield, a 5.2% "oatmeal and tonka bean stout" (I'm not kidding) from Firebrick Brewery of Blaydon (one other pump clip was turned around).

Micropub with a single square room and with the bar occupying one side. It was quite noisy and boisterous in here with a post-work crowd on my Wednesday evening visit. Beers are listed on a screen on one wall. The list comprised 3 real ales - First & Last Stell & Anarchy Blonde Star & Flat Out. Craft beers were Allendale Pennine Pale & Lumen.

Not really a typical micropub this one. It was all a bit too noisy for my liking.
